Resolution of Governing Body / Board of Trustees / Executive Committee authorizing the person(s) to operate the account

A business owned and managed by a single person but operated under a business name. Ideal for freelancers, small shop owners, and service providers.
Documents Required:
Photocopy of identity document as per Individual requirements above.
Registration certificate (for registered concerns).
Declaration of sole proprietorship on business letterhead.
Proof of registered/business address.
Membership certificate of trade bodies (if applicable).
Specimen Signature of the proprietor.

A Single Member Company (SMC) is a type of private limited company that has only one shareholder, offering limited liability while allowing full control to a single owner. To open a corporate account or fulfill regulatory requirements, an SMC must provide specific documentation to verify its identity, registration, and compliance with legal obligations.
Required Documents:
CNIC/NICOP – Copy of the single member’s valid identity card.
Proof of Address – Utility bills, lease agreement, or any official document showing the single member’s residential or business address.
Certificate of Registration – Issued by the SECP upon registration.
Certificate of Incorporation – Official document from SECP confirming incorporation.
SECP Registration Number – Unique number assigned to the company upon registration.
NTN Certificate – National Tax Number certificate issued by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Sales Tax Registration Certificate – Issued by FBR (if applicable).
Memorandum of Association (MOA) & Articles of Association (AOA) – Company’s constitutional documents outlining its structure, objectives, and rules.

A business owned by two or more individuals who share profits, responsibilities, and liabilities according to a Partnership Deed. Can be registered or unregistered.
Documents Required (Certified Copies):
Photocopies of identity documents for all partners and authorized signatories.
Attested copy of Partnership Deed.
Attested copy of Registration Certificate with Registrar of Firms.
If unregistered, mention clearly in the Account Opening Form.
Original authority letter from all partners authorizing account operation.
Proof of registered/business address.
Specimen Signatures of all partners and authorized signatories.

A registered business entity that operates as a separate legal body. Can be a Public Limited Company (Ltd.) or Private Limited Company (Pvt. Ltd.), managed by directors and owned by shareholders.
Documents Required (Certified Copies):
Board Resolution for account opening, specifying authorized persons.
Memorandum and Articles of Association.
Certificate of Incorporation.
Certificate of Commencement of Business (if applicable).
List of Directors on Form-A / Form-B (as per Companies Ordinance 1984).
Form-29.
Photocopies of identity documents for all directors and authorized persons.
Identification & verification of:
Individual shareholders holding 20% or more shares (10% or more for EDD cases).
Legal entities holding shares equal to 20% or more, with identification of their natural person shareholders.
Specimen Signatures of all directors and authorized signatories.

An account opened by a single person for personal use. Suitable for anyone wanting to open an account in their own name for savings, transactions, or other services.

Photocopy of any one of the following valid identity documents:
CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) issued by NADRA.
NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis) issued by NADRA.
POC (Pakistan Origin Card) issued by NADRA.
ARC (Alien Registration Card) issued by NARA, Ministry of Interior (local currency account only).
Passport with a valid visa or proof of legal stay (for foreign nationals only).
